Common mistakes

• Multiplying instead of dividing. A foot is larger than a inch, so the number of feet must come out smaller: 30 inches = 2.5 ft.
• Rounding too early. Keep the full factor until the last step; rounding 0.0833 to 0.08 first puts large values noticeably off.
